Yes — If you are in Oregon or SW Washington. However, if demand is high, we will prioritize Livelihood NW clients, IBRN clients (no referral needed), BIPOC and/or women-owned businesses in Oregon.

No — To skip entering your information into the form each time you book an OAA appointment, you will need to create an account.
To create an account, click Register for an account while viewing the confirmation at the end of the booking process.
Be sure you are logged in to your account when you book future appointments. This will allow you to skip entering your information each time you schedule an OAA appointment, and will also allow you to store credit card information (if you choose to do so). Read more about how accounts work here.

No — we can work with any business. However, our Accounting Advisors are most familiar with Oregon-based businesses in a variety of industries including service, manufacturing, construction, retail, food, and home-based businesses. We work with startups, sole proprietors, LLC’s, and S-Corps.

Sometimes — You can always book a meeting and run some questions by us. We recommend you schedule with Jocelyn, who has a background in non-profit accounting. While we can meet with you through Open Accounting Advising to discuss your non-profit questions, we are NOT able to enroll non-profits in our long-term support programs due to the limitations of our funding contracts.

Yes — For now you can meet with us for quick questions and to assess if you have larger bookkeeping projects you need assistance with. If you need more support, you can register for our Intro to Bookkeeping Workshop, or our QuickBooks Online Training Series, or be referred by an IBRN provider to be eligible for further support.

Yes — Our Accounting Advisors are experts in Quickbooks Online and Quickbooks Desktop. They are also familiar with a few other systems such as Wave. They can answer questions related to bookkeeping, payroll, invoicing, and more. Open Accounting Advising is a resource for getting quick answers, not to do data entry or other significant bookkeeping projects.
